BIOGRAPHIE

Eleni Vergeti is a Greek actress, scriptwriter and director in theatre, film and television. She has co-written the debut feature-length film of Christos Passalis “Silence 6-9” produced by Maria Drandaki (Homemade Films) that premiered in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Agria” (Wild) is her sophomore short, co- financed by Creative Europe Media and produced by Horsefly Films (Yorgos Tsourgiannis) and Eleni Vergeti after “I, the House”, an experimental short that she shot during lockdown in 2021 and was premiered in Drama International Film Festival. As an actress she has collaborated with acclaimed theatre and film directors such as Romeo Castellucci, Philippe Lacôte, Philippe Grandrieux, Dominik Moll, Zino Wey etc. From 2013 to 2020 she has collaborated as an actress and dramaturge with Vasistas Theatre Group, in all of the ensemble’s productions in Athens and across Europe.
