Gustavo Campos, 26 years old, was born in Jundiaí, in the countryside of São Paulo. He studied History at University of São Paulo and graduated in Cinema at International Film Academy, where he made his first short-film called Lena (2018). In 2018, he moved to Recife, where he began his career in cinema as editor-assistant of the documentary feature Waiting For Carnival, by director Marcelo Gomes; and the fiction Greta by Armando Praça. As a screenwriter, Gustavo wrote the feature films Paloma (still unpublished) and Tale From a Certain Orient (in pre-production), both by Marcelo Gomes. Gustavo also edited the next feature film by Armando Praça, Fortaleza Hotel (still unpublished). Gustavo currently writes the feature film Terra Rara with director Tiago Melo and develops his own projects, such as the short-film Rapunzel and the feature film Aurora.
