Born in 1989 in Cahors, France, Xavier Delagnes entered E.N.S.A.V (École Nationale Supérieure d'AudioVisuel) after three years of university studies. He suddenly realizes that he is almost the namesake of Xavier Dolan, a misadventure he develops in his short film "A Bright Future" produced by G.R.E.C in 2014. The film tackles political satire, which will be further asserted in "Out of Gas" (2016) then "Our Lady Of the ZAD" (2018), both produced by Aurora Films. To celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, G.R.E.C. offers him a new collaboration, with "We Walked On Earth", mixing comedy and ecological anticipation, broadcast on France 2 in 2019. He returns to highly topical issues with "Farewell Roundabout", which explores the French Gilets Jaunes crisis from an offbeat angle.
