BIOGRAPHIE

Jan Cvitkovič is the most acclaimed Slovenian filmmaker. His feature films received more than 60 awards, including Venice - Best Debut Film Award, San Sebastian - Best New Director Award... Making short films is his passion. Three of his short films were premiered at Venice Film Festival – two in Competition Program (Heart is a Piece of Meat and This is Earth, my Brother) and one at the Venice 70: Future Reloaded. He spent past three years as a physical laborer (construction builder, lumberjack, working in vineyards). Short film »DO YOU SEE ME?« is his artistic comeback.
