She holds a degree in Communication Sciences, specializing in Audiovisual Production. She also studied Script and Direction for Documentary Film and Digital Cinematography at the Madrid Film Institute. In 2012, with her documentary feature debut, No place is far away, received, among other awards, the one for Best Documentary Made by a Woman at the Morelia International Film Festival. Her second feature documentary When I Close My Eyes has been honored as Best Documentary by Cinelatino, Rencontres de Toulouse and Montreal International First Peoples Festival, as well as the José Rovirosa Award for Documentary Film in 2019.
