BIOGRAPHIE

Job, Joris & Marieke is a studio for illustration, animation, character design and music. Job Roggeveen, Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw studied at The Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In 2007 they founded their studio in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Their work varies from tv commercials, educative films, music videos and short films. In 2011 they made a music video for Gers Pardoel’s song ‘Ik neem je mee’. The video became a Youtube hit and has now been watched fourteen million times. In the same year, they made the music video ‘Born with a Bothered Mind’ for Job's music project Happy Camper, in which Manfred the Yeti’s holiday turns into a succession of camping discomforts. Together with Ramon Verberne they created the design and concept for The Tumblies, a children's series of 78 episodes for dutch TV network KRO. Right now it's being broadcasted in several countries.
