BIOGRAPHIE

Alberto Segre est né et a grandi à Turin, en Italie, où il a suivi des études de sociologie avant de compléter sa formation à Cambridge et Paris. Il a commencé à travailler en France comme chercheur avant d’intégrer le Conseil Régional d’Aquitaine en charge du soutien au développement du cinéma en Région. Alberto a notamment contribué à créer Aquitaine Image Cinéma (maintenant ECLA), le pôle d’aide au tournage de la Région. Il était également lecteur pour la commission du film et membre du comité de lecture de l’association d’écriture de scénarios Équinoxe TBC. En parallèle de son travail de chercheur, il a progressivement donné forme à sa deuxième passion : l’écriture et la réalisation de films. Alberto Segre was born and raised in Turin, Italy, where he studied sociology before completing his training in Cambridge and Paris. He started working in France as a researcher before joining the Aquitaine Regional Council in charge of supporting the development of cinema in the region. Alberto helped to create Aquitaine Image Cinéma (now ECLA), the Region’s support center for filming. He was also a reader for the film commission and a member of the reading committee of the script writing association Équinoxe TBC. In parallel with his work as a researcher, he gradually gave shape to his second passion: writing and making films.
