BIOGRAPHIE

Animation filmmaker. Born in Japan. Since 1998, she works on films based on her dreams and graffiti drawings done on an unconscious mode. During summer 1999, she made a dream that was a deep shock. Struck by a kind of revelation, and feeling that this dream was not meant to end only as a personal experience of hers, she did an animation film based upon it. Since then, she goes on producing animated works with a constant attention paid to moving aspects in her own unconscious, and by keeping in mind the necessity of contingency. Animation in a motif in the dream afterwards. In the last few years, she also worked as a coordinator on various animation-related projects, like screenings, conferences and workshops.
