Directors Biography - Robert Löbel & Max Mörtl: Robert and Max have been animating together for over 15 years. Robert doodles things that move in 2D, Max builds whimsical stop motion worlds out of tactile materials, light and patience. Together they founded KLIMPA, a cozy chaos lab for colorful, bizarre stories full of minimalistic creatures and unexpected humor. They work from Berlin and Munich and their animated short ISLAND has been screened at over 140 festivals.
