BIOGRAPHIE

Anna Brass (*1981) is a German director and camerawoman for documentaries. In her work she often focuses on "unjustice". She likes to experiment with different formats of documentary storytelling from the big screen to interactive documentary web projects. Her films have been shown on international Film Festivals and have been broadcasted on TV. Brass had been living in the US and in France and is used to work abroad during shootings that often have an international scope. She teaches documentary filmmaking at several film universities and had been working as a jury member for different film festivals (Hofer Filmtage, Biberacher Filmfestspiele). Since 2019, Brass is teaching documentary filmmaking on a regular base at University of Television and Film in Munich. Anna Brass is holder of two diplomas and lives with her family in Munich.
