BIOGRAPHIE

Florian Velasco arrived in Paris in 2009 and joined a number of VFX studios after completing studies in digital effects. A dreamer by nature, he has always been fascinated by images and what they tell us... 2 years later, he embarked on a casting adventure that led him to take acting classes and perform on stage: it was the trigger! After a number of short films, music videos and commercials, he also distinguished himself on the Internet in comedy sketches and on TV series. Passionate about cinema, his goal is express himself on the big screen! After having succeeded in telling stories through VFX, then through emotions thanks to acting, he directed his first short film "A smile away", being in front of and behind the camera! In the end, it was a logical extension of his lifelong need to create stories! His second short film, Cornelian, is a logical follow-up to his first, surfing the comedy line while blurring the genre lines! Finally, in 2024, he co-directed his most accomplished short film, “Rêve Party,” with Fabien Le Mouël, which led to a longer version in 2025 !
