Fredrik Wenzel

BIOGRAPHIE

Fredrik Wenzel, born in 1978 in Fässberg, is an DOP/director from Sweden. He won the Sven Nyqvist Cinematography Award in 2013 for "The Quiet Roar" and the Guldbagge for Best Cinematography for "Force Majeure" (2014). His DOP work on "The Square" (Palme d'Or 2017) earned him another Guldbagge. Wenzel also shot Guadagnino's HBO series "We Are Who We Are” and "Triangle of Sadness" (2022 Palme d'Or). As a director, his works include "As We’re Told" (2017, winner of the IDFA Special Jury Award).
