Antonia Grilikhes-Lasky (she/her) is a NYC-based writer and filmmaker. A lifelong New Yorker and occasional theater director, she works with Tony Kushner as writing and creative consultant for television and film, most recently on West Side Story and The Fabelmans, as well as on Lincoln (dir. Steven Spielberg). Her pilot, Heirloom, won Best Screenplay at the 2019 Atlanta Film Festival, and her award-winning short film "Try A Little Harder" has played at festivals across the country. She serves as a choreographic/dramaturgical mentor at the New York City Ballet's Choreographic Institute, and has worked in literary development at theaters including The Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, and Manhattan Theatre Club. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she holds an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University, and was a guest lecturer at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She's currently co-writing a limited series with Mr. Kushner, and is in development on her first feature, "The Making of A Mother". She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two little kids.
