BIOGRAPHIE
Cecilia Stenbom is an award-winning artist and filmmaker, based in the North East of England, originally from Sweden. Thematically her films explore the construction of identity and rules of interaction, the work offers a cinematic treatment to the mundane by a heightened and stylised aesthetic highlighting the muted catharsis of everyday life. She employs both documentary and fiction conventions, ranging from gallery installation to narrative film.
