BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1984. He majored in advertising and design in university before he went on to earn master’s degree in film directing at Korea National University of Arts. His artistic attempts cover a wide range of genres, including animations and musicals. His short animation, DEAF AND WIND (2013), was invited to Vancouver International Film Festival and his feature debut SAEM (2017), a romantic comedy, won an award at Jeonju International Film Festival, followed by theatrical release. His newest short film, AN ACTOR IS BORN, is a black comedy in the form of a fresh approach.
