Angeline GRAGASIN (1985, USA) is a Filipino American writer, filmmaker, and artist whose practice spans fiction, nonfiction, and experimental films, as well as social practice and new media projects. Her work has been presented internationally at festivals and museums such as Clermont-Ferrand, ZINEBI Bilbao, BAMcinématek, Palais de Tokyo, Jumping Frames Hong Kong, The New Museum, La Place de la Danse, and more. She was named a 2022 Flaherty Film Seminar Professional Development Fellow and awarded a 2023 Wexner Center for the Arts Film/Video Studio Residency in support of her most recent film Myself When I Am Real (2023). She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and an AB in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities, with honors, from The University of Chicago.
