Ignacio Ragone was born in buenos aires in 1989, he is 31 years old, director and editor, graduated as a director from the ENERC. His debut feature "chaco", co-directed with Juan Fernández Gebauer, saw its premiere in the official human rights competition at the 19th BAFICI, receiving awards in Oaxaca, Rome, Cine de las alturas, Bariloche, FINCA, among other festivals. In December 2018 the film saw its commercial release. Her second feature film, the telefilm "Una Linda Flor", a French-Argentine co-production, awaits its international release in December 2020 and its national release in early 2021. Filmed in the heart of Mendoza's Uco valley, the film delves into the world of wine, its processes, its fashions, its controversies, its tension between art and rural space. His third feature film "La velocidad de la Luz" co-directed with Marco Canale and Juan Fernández Gebauer was filmed entirely in Japan and is currently in the final stages of post-production. The film oscillates between fiction and documentary, telling the story of a group of elderly people who decide to stage a play about the past, present and future of Tokyo. His short film "Ida" was shot in 6 countries with a cell phone. It works on death and old age through the windows of cars, buses, trains and airplanes.
