BIOGRAPHIE

Originally from Colombia, Carolina is a filmmaker living in Bristol, UK. She studied philosophy as an undergraduate in Bogota and has an MA in filmmaking from the London Film School in London. Her films have screened at prestigious film festivals including Palms Springs and Aesthetica, winning awards such as the Best of British at Encounters Film Festival and Best Film at Concorto Film festival. Her new short film Sweet Little Despair funded by the British Film Institute has just been finished and will be released in the next couple of months. Carolina received the Early Development fund from the BFI to write her first feature treatment set in Bogota, Colombia. She is currently developing this new project.
