BIOGRAPHIE

Chia-Hsin Liu is a writer-director based in Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated in MFA from the film depart. of the National Taiwan University of Arts. Over years, she made and produced several documentaries, short films which are a mixture of fictional and true stories. Her previous narrative short film Fan Fan (2015) was shown at numerous international film festivals including Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival (2015) and won the Best Film Award at Women Make Waves Film Festival (2016) and Best Formosa Audience Award at Berlin IntelFilm Festival (2016) as well as broadcasted on ARTE TV. Chia-Hsin was at the Cinéfondation Residence, Festival de Cannes, Locarno Film Academy and Talents Tokyo in 2018. She is developing her feature film.
