Eleonora enjoys working with unusual materials and techniques to transport audiences to surreal worlds. She has co-directed the stop motion short film Partition (2011) which won several prizes. Her second stop motion film Effort (2012) was also screened worldwide and awarded. After completing a Master in Game Design in parallel with her work as a research assistant at the Zurich University of the Arts, she decided to make a new short. Her focus lays in using unusual materials since intertwining the narration and materials is the biggest advantage of the stop motion technique that can’t be reproduced with any other technique to this day. Materials are an essential element of Eleonoras work as she wants to transmit their haptics and sensation to the audience.
