Eleanna Santorinaiou is an exciting new writer director. She comes from Greece and has been living between London & Athens the last 11 years. The combination of these two so different cultures have dictated the way she is looking at the world. A very interesting blend of a Greek Passion & British ambition/resilience. Her work is people focused, intimate and personal. Her films have the subjective point of view of the protagonist. She is interested in the theme of childhood and how this is carried to adulthood. Before she started her directing journey, she studied Philosophy & History of Science. Her studies gave her a very holistic understanding of the world - something that applies in her films. She began her career as a children's theatre writer - director in 2008. Her first play "Apples, Cinnamon & Sugar" has been running for 15 consecutive years and it keeps going. She moved into making student and guerilla short films after her studies in London Film Academy (2012) and she is now selected by the prestigious NFTS to progress her directing skills. "Until You See Me" is her first "big" short film (I am presenting to you her first "big" short film.) A very intimate study of saying goodbye to your loved one on your own terms.
