BIOGRAPHIE

Irasj Asanti is an award-winning film director. He was educated as an actor at the Nordic Black Theater School in Oslo, and currently works as a director, writer and actor. He has starred in a number of Norwegian films. He has written and directed several short films that have been shown at festivals and television around the world. In 2015, he directed the feature film "HØVDINGER" which in 2017 was nominated for the Kanonprisen and shown in cinemas. His latest short film, "KNUS MEG" won Blikk's audience award during the Oslo / Fusion International Film Festival 2019. "KNUS MEG" is also part of the cultural schoolbag 2021. The short film "SAND" which received support from NFI, is also part of the short film festival and competes for the golden chair 2021 He also now received support from NFI for the short film "ALINA" which will be filmed in August 2021. He has a lot going on, and is also now working on an action / thriller feature film with development support from NFI.
