Leanne Hanley has been working in the film and television industry for the past 25 years and has developed a wide array of skills across all areas of production. She started out as a hair and make-up artist and moved into photography before she began writing, producing, directing and editing short films, music videos, and animation projects, notably "Songs of St Kilda", , "Being Home", and Spygirl, a retro comedy that made the Best of the Rest at Tropfest. Collaborating with writer/director Michael Rymer, she produced the multi-award-winning feature film Face To Face, and then joined him in Canada as Director Shadow on the NBC hit, Hannibal. Leanne also produced sci-fi feature, Vessel for first time director, Adam Ciancio. Her directorial projects include short films Mama’s Gun, Blood Moon Blue Sky and web series, Soapfiend. Her latest project is the short film Sapphire starring Andreja Pejic (The Girl in the Spider’s Web, Dali Land) and Jane Badler ( V, The Surrogate).
