Lamberto Guerra (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1984) is a professional actor with a wide experience in film, stage and TV. He started his studies in film acting in 2000 in Barcelona, and kept training in stage acting and singing in Canary Islands, Madrid and United Kingdom. As an actor, he has worked in more than fifteen plays, more than twenty professional shortfilms which have been awarded in national and international festivals, and he is one of the most recognized actors by the Canarian audience thanks to his work in several TV shows for the Televisión Autonómica de Canarias. In movies, his first role in a feature film was a supporting one in the Warner Bros. blockbuster “Wrath of the Titans”, alongside Academy Awards nominees Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes or Rosamund Pike. His first leading role came from the director Daniel León Lacave in his feature film debut, “Crónicas del Desencanto”. In 2010, during the last edition of the Festivalito of La Palma, he directed for the first time an express musical shortfilm with the help of the director Iván López, “ODIO LOS MARTES (El Musicalito)”, conceived, filmed and post produced in just 6 hours. From that point on, he started to work more frequently not only as an actor but also as writer, assistant director or coach for other actors. Recognizable voice and usual host of many international festivals in Canary Islands (like LPA Film Festival or the Lanzarote International Film Festival), Guerra is also Graduated in Translation and Interpretation by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria , and since 2013 is the President of the Canary Islands Actors Guild, and Organization Secretary and International Secretary of the Spanish Spectacle Worker Artists Confederation. At present, he combines his profession and responsibilities with teaching, giving film acting lessons for actors. Among his future projects, he is waiting to direct his first feature film, with an original screenplay written by him.
