BIOGRAPHIE
Joshua is a writer, director, producer and cinematographer whose films have exhibited at many international film festivals and have won numerous awards. His work has screened at prestigious arts institutions such as the Barbican Centre in London, the Chicago Cultural Centre and The Tatham Art Gallery. As a director his debut feature film “Siyabonga” made its world premiere in the main competition of the 71st Locarno Film Festival where it was nominated for the Golden Leopard and the FIPRESCI Prize. It went on to play extensively around the world at cinemas, film festivals and art galleries. Joshua is a Berlinale Talents alumnus and in 2019 was endorsed by Arts Council England as an Exceptional Talent in Film and Television.
