BIOGRAPHIE

Having graduated as a screenwriter from the Danish film school 18Frames in 2015 Jacob founded Willow Film in 2016 and started directing. His films have been selected for over one hundred international film festivals winning over ninety awards. The majority of these for Best Acting which underlines Jacob’s dedication to working closely with his actors. His latest film, "Incident at school", has also been selected for many festivals including 6 Oscar qualifying festivals winning an award at the prestigious Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia. When not directing his own films, Jacob started working freelance as an Extras Coordinator in 2017 having since moved on to 1AD, most recently on “De Forbandede År – Opgøret” (Into the darkness II). These films have given Jacob the chance to work with among others Anders Refn and Bille August thus being able to observe them working with actors such as Ulrich Thomsen, Lars Mikkelsen and Jesper Christensen.
