BIOGRAPHIE

Joy Webster is an emerging writer, director and editor based in Toronto. In 2015 her short film, In The Weeds, screened at numerous film festivals across North America and was broadcasted on national television as a selection of CBC's Canadian Reflections programme. Her most recently completed short, Game, has screened at 17 film festivals and won numerous awards including Best Short Film at Canadian Film Fest and two Golden Sheaf Awards for Best Fiction Short and Best Emerging Filmmaker at the Yorkton Film Festival. Joy is currently in post-production for a new short, titled Buzzard, to be completed later this year.
