BIOGRAPHIE

Beatriz Lima graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual from UFF/RJ. She works as executive producer, such as the animated short “Maréu” (Nicole Schlegel, 2023), the feature “The Owl's Tale” (Tetsuya Maruyama, 2018) and currently the stop motion feature “As Outras Pessoas” (Pedro Iuá, 2026). As an animation artist, works mostly with stop motion. She took part in the award-winning short “Contra-Filé” (Pedro Iuá, 2019) and was a selected artist in the “Mostra de Videoarte Stop Motion” in 2022. “The Hammock” is her first shortfilm as a director and it was a pitching finalist in Animarkt 2020 (Poland).
