Joost van Bosch and Erik Verkerk both attended the animation course at the 'Willem de Kooning Art Academy'. During their studies they made several films together and they both attended an internship at the 'Cartoon Saloon' in Ireland where they worked on the feature film 'Brendan and the Secrets of Kells'(2008) and on the television series of 'Skunk Fu'. Their graduation film called 'The Shoebox' won several awards, and made them both graduate with Honors. After this Graduation they both returned to the 'Cartoon Saloon' in Ireland to work on the television series of 'Skunk Fu' for almost all of the 52 episodes where they handled various jobs in the production from designing and storyboarding to writing. After a one year stay in Ireland they went back to the Netherlands to officially open their own studio 'Ka-ching Cartoons' where they started to work on their first short film the 3D machine. This film was the start of the 3D machine series which was commissioned by Nintendo. In the past years Ka-ching Cartoons has been responsible for creating and developing original content for tv series and feature films. And worked on series and features of existing properties as a studio that delivered complete production, from storyboarding, direction and animation, or as a partner that delivered a specific part of the production.
