BIOGRAPHIE

Hossein Allahyari is an independent film director and screenwriter. After graduating with a Master's degree in Cinema Studies from Tarbiat Modares University, Hossein began his career as an assistant director, working with renowned Iranian filmmakers such as Majid Majidi, Reza Mirkarimi, and Kamal Tabrizi. Hossein's experience as an assistant director on five feature films in Iran, including Sun Children and Night Guardian, provided him with invaluable insights into the filmmaking process. In addition to his work as an assistant director, Hossein has also written screenplays and directed plays and short films in Iran. His short films, A Mirror, The Whimper and existence, have won awards at international film festivals.
