BIOGRAPHIE

Chihyu Lin (*1994, Taiwan) is a film director, animator, and collage artist. She studies film directing at FAMU in Prague. Her topic revolves around females, gender, and class. The stories focus on females' emotions, showing vulnerability, tenderness, toughness, and authenticity with her unique visual style. Her collage animation, Ms. Belly (2017) was selected by BFI Future Talent, short film Trust Game (2022) was selected for the CAMERIMAGE competition. Alone Together (2024) is her school project in the second year. With the chance to make films as a foreigner, she wants to make this film for the women who bear loneliness, whether it's because they're lost, misunderstood, or simply want to be alone.
