BIOGRAPHIE

Zanyar Adami is a Swedish film director born in Kurdistan, Iran. Zanyar is the founder of the award-winning magazine Gringo, and has worked as a journalist, writer and entrepreneur before entering filmmaking. Zanyar´s debut film, The Guerilla Son, a feauture-length documentary was released in 2011 and has been shown by numerous broadcasters and festivals, winning several prizes. Zanyar has also written and directed the fiction films Krigsduvor (14min) and Senses (30min). He is currently developing his feature film The Lioness daughter.
