Karan is a film maker and co-founder/curator at Harkat Studios, a multi-disciplinary boutique arts studio based in Mumbai. He has spent the majority of career being an Associate Director in mainstream Hindi cinema, most notably with socio-political director Prakash Jha in films like Raajneeti, Satyagraha, Chakravyuh, Aarakshan (IMDB) and has directed a host of digital commercials, short documentary stories and fashion films as part of his work at Harkat. Karan’s creative career has been a maze of meandering experiences, which has led him to hone his skills in various disciplines. From curating exhibits like ‘The Museum of Ordinary Objects’ and ‘In the mood for Melancholia’ to a background in independent graphic and product design, Karan is now stepping into his own voice in the film medium. ‘And sometimes. She loved me too.’ is his first personal work as a film maker.
