He was born in 1988 in Gaziantep. He completed his primary and high school education in Antalya. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, TV and Cinema. He received his Master's degree from Marmara University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design. His new short film "The Ant and The Human", which is planned to be released in 2021 and supported by Directorate General of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, is in the post-production stage. In his funny video clip of 2020 titled "Yâr Boncuklu" (Lover in Beads), together with his mother, he both did the sound recording and directed the clip, which he saw as a tribute to the masters of the Turkish Cinema. He was the director of cinematography of the documentary film named "The Liberation of Şanlıurfa", which was produced by the Municipality of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality under the auspices of the T.R. Presidency. The documentary is scheduled to be screened in 2021. He received 10 awards in international festivals with his 2018 film “Snow Time” (Kar Zamanı), a sequel to "Pomegranate Time" (Nar Zamanı). The most important of these is the Best Cinematography Award given among more than 5,000 films at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival - Independent Short Awards, held in Hollywood, USA. He produced the soundtrack of the 2108 film Dr. he made the music of Dr. Semir Aslanyürek's feature film named "Chaos" (Kaos). The world premiere of "Chaos" was held at the 42nd Montreal World Film Festival, one of the world's most prestigious film competitions. In 2015 and 2016, he was the cinematographer of the documentary “Minibus ” aired on the TRT Documentary Channel. In 2015, he was the music director of the solo album “Barak & Çepni Folk Songs”, a collection of Turkmenian music works from Gaziantep region, produced by the musician Naciye Çokbilir, who is his mother, the screenwriter and the lead actress of the films "Nar Zamanı" and "Kar Zamanı", and he played the baglama and directed the clips of the songs in the album. He performed as a baglama player, guitarist and drummer in many festivals with Naciye Çokbilir. He received 7 awards in the film festivals for his 2014 short film "Nar Zamanı." The most important of these is the Second Best Film Award selected among more than 3,200 films at the 3rd India Chennai International Short Film Festival. His 2012 documentary film “Maşuk” was screened in many national and international festivals. Among these festivals, the most important ones were the world's two greatest film festivals of the world, the 66th Cannes Film Festival and the 63rd Berlin Film Festival, in which it was included in the productions representing our country in Turkey's Stand. He currently shoots clips and commercials. He continues his films and musical works.
