BIOGRAPHIE

orn on 1982 in Tehran, Iran, Navid Nikkhah Azad holds a B.A in English Literature. He’s a scriptwriter, a professional film editor and an award-winning short film director. He’s written two feature screenplays, edited six feature films, and directed six short films. His three shorts were officially accepted and screened in more than 100 international film festivals including a number of BAFTA-recognized and GOYA – qualifying film festivals around the world. He’s earned several international nominations and awards as a scriptwriter, film editor and film director. He directed and Produced The Recess as his sixth short film in 2020.
