BIOGRAPHIE

Originally from Kanpur, currently based in Mumbai, Karan started making short films while still in college. He directed Mithila Palkar's first short film 'Majha Honeymoon', which was an official selection at MAMI - Mumbai Film Festival in 2014. His 2018 short film 'Sheher Ya Tum' went on to win the Golden Gateway Award at MAMI - Mumbai Film Festival 2018. The film was also screened at festivals across the globe like UK Asian Film Festival & MISAFF, Canada. He is a fan of stand up comedy & has directed 6 comedy specials, all of which are streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the specials have been received well by the fraternity as well as the audiences. Karan also runs a firm 'Myoho Films', with the intention of collaborating with various artists & creating independent films.
