Dong-Ren Hong

BIOGRAPHIE

Dong-Ren Hong is a Taiwanese filmmaker with a diverse background in shorts, documentaries, and features. His previous short film, Cornered Rat, received a Taiwanese film award and was selected for multiple international festivals. As an editor, he made his feature debut with Alifu, the Prince/ss, which premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival and earned a nomination for the Chinese-language 'Oscars,' the Golden Horse Awards. Recently, he graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in Film and is currently in post-production for his thesis project, Youth, Youth.
