Born in Seoul 1991. Heui Song majored in Directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, USA, and majored in TV and Film Production at Five Towns College in Long Island, NY. Since 2017, Heui Song is based in Korea and is working as a writer and directing in various genre. One of her directing works include the musical short <Daughter’s Table>, which tells the story of three sisters who visit their terminally ill mother; <Audition in the Subway>, a musical short film in which an unknown actor Yoon-ji improvises an audition on the subway; <Loners>, a short story about the middle school student with a history of victims from school violence who transfer to the new school and describe how he spends his first day. Also she has directed K-pop idols interview series for <MINDSET> platform, and working on a music documentary feature film about the Korean legendary band <Jaurim>. Her works were introduced to Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, Brussels Short Film Festival, Umbria Film Festival, Jecheon International Music Film Festival, Seoul International Extreme Short Image&Film Festival, and Korean National Assembly, etc.
