BIOGRAPHIE

Quan Phuong Thanh is a Vietnamese female filmmaker. In 2014, Thanh received a full scholarship to attend The Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK). Her short films, which she wrote and directed by herself, told stories about Vietnamese families nowadays to emphasize on their precariousness, vulnerability, adversity, and belief. Now, she is a professor in Film Production Department at a university. She also is the director of many popular independent music videos in Vietnam.
