BIOGRAPHIE

Saleh Kashefi is an Iranian underground audiovisual artist whose works bring a bold lens upon contemporary Islamic youth culture, making ‘no-budget’ films which have gone on to be screened with international acclaim. He has been part of festivals like Cannes, Berlinale, Locarno, Visions du Reel and FID. A recipient of Prince Claus Seed Awards, he has made 15 short films which have been included in over 100 film festivals around the world and have won 29 awards. He has recently moved to Geneva to study Master of Cinema at ECAL and HEAD.
