Lucas Elliot Eberl, named one of the "10 Young Americans to Watch" by Indiewire’s editor-in-chief Eric Kohn in MovieMaker magazine, is a director, actor, and composer. His directorial feature film debut, the political drama "Choose Connor," toured to film festivals worldwide including CineVegas, Woodstock Film Festival, Rome Film Fest, Newport Beach Film Festival, Seattle Film Festival, as well as the Philadelphia International Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize for Best American Independent. It was then released theatrically and on video by Strand Releasing. He has also directed many short films and music videos, including for Mothxr and Grammy-nominated Shiny Toy Guns. As an actor he has appeared in many films including Clint Eastwood's "Letters from Iwo Jima", Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes" and John Grisham’s "A Painted House" and in various TV shows including Netflix's "Marvel's Daredevil", "Big Love", "ER", "Cold Case" and "Judging Amy". Lucas is currently in production on the feature film "You Above All" that he is co-directing with Edgar Morais, starring Rita Blanco, Olivia Thirlby, Lou Taylor Pucci, Anabela Moreira, Lourdes Norberto, Teresa Tavares, John Robinson, and Steven Weber. Lucas divides his time between Portugal and the USA.
