Fiona Kida is a Tanzanian-American writer/director/producer from Nashville, now based in Los Angeles. She graduated from USC majoring in Film & TV Production, has worked as an Associate Producer at Google’s Creative Lab in NYC, and interned at Bad Robot, NBCUniversal, and Pixomondo. She’s produced shorts that have screened at 25+ international film festivals and been nominated for a student Emmy in writing and directing. She last worked as an Office PA at Annapurna Pictures. Last summer, a feature she wrote got into the 2nd round of Sundance’s 2021 Development Track. She has just wrapped Post-Production for "Blue Hour", a short that she wrote, directed, produced, and composed the music for from having won a 2021 WAVE Grant to make earlier this year. She is also in Post for a music video she directed and another short film she wrote and directed amidst pre-production for her first. Her passion is to tell bittersweet stories that hold a catharsis in their complete vulnerability.
