Anona Langa is a Congolese-born French filmmaker, now based in London, who has always had a passion for storytelling. Her love for visual art started when she was gifted with her first love, a Nikon FE camera, leading her down the path from still images to moving pictures. A lover of the non-representational, she is a culture aficionado and consumer of all forms of motion picture, from the small to the big screens. She has worked on numerous movies including the multi-award winning short films, Squares (2016) and Melody (2017) where she served as an Associate Producer, her keen creative eye also lending her to the added role of Art Director . She loves unconventional ways of storytelling, abstract yet lyrical where each captured moment can incite the viewer to re-imagine the story, thus making the creator's vision transcendent. This love is reflected in her style of work and can be seen in her directorial debut, Dazedly, short movie that challenges the viewers to look beyond the obvious and see what is told in between. She is currently developing the feature story of Dazedly.
