EL HADJ GUEYE was born in Touba (Senegal) on January 15th, 1979. My passion for the theater led me to found a theater company in 2003: «Gëm Gëm Africa» (Believe in Africa). Our shows have been played in several cities of Senegal and in many national festivals including the Negro Arts Festival. We were also requested by Moussa Touré to be part of the festival he organizes every year in Petit Mbao. In 2014, my troupe and I, as the main actor, played the docu-fiction of Roberto Romeo in "KHALIS, KHALIS” (Money, money). In 2016/17, I wrote the script and realized my first short film 12': "Waly’s problem". In 2019, I wrote with Babacar Hanne Dia and Mamadou Samba Diallo the script and realized my second short film 11’: “I am looking for my father”.
