Noelia María Muíño González

BIOGRAPHIE

Noelia Muíño (Galicia, 1992), currently a 3D camera artist at Dneg, worked as an editor for 'The New York Times', and is a 3rd year student at the Master in Film Directing from New York University (USA). Noelia is writer, producer, director and editor of the documentaries “Silent Hour” and “The carpet seller”, and the shortfilms “The widow”, “Paradise”, “En Pointe” and “A Visitor”. She is currently in preproduction for a TV series she will be directing next fall 2020 in Spain. Her shortfilms were selected by different film festivals in Spain, such as Ourense Film Festival, Alicante Film Festival, M de Cine and Guadalajara Film Festival. She won the the 'Best international short film' prize for 'The Widow' at Alicante Film Festival, and a 'Best Galician director' prize for 'The Visitor'. She also was Director of Photography of the shortfilms “Wolf” and “Over your shoulder” directed by Gianna Badiali, and “Safe among the Stars” directed by Jess Snow. She worked as Previz and Layout artist at 3D Animated TV series and movies. Noelia was part of the Previs team for “Tad: the lost explorer 2”, the most succesful Animation movie in Spain’s history, and winner of a Spanish Academy Award at its category. Her education lists a Grade in Audiovisual Communication (Santiago de Compostela) ended with Honors, and also a Master in 3d Animation by Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
