Ryoji Yamada was born in 1987. While he was working as a Trainee Japanese Council Affair of Culture in Germany, he studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg as an exchange student. Still an undergraduate in 2010, Yamada broke into the animation industry by participating in the International Animation Film Festival. In 2013, he finished (his) M.... F.... A... at the Tama Art University and worked as an animator at the Garage Film inc. for 3 years. Afterwards he worked as a freelance director and animator. Yamada continued to produce artwork alongside creating moving images for advertisements. Today, his films have been screened in Japan and in other international shows like the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
