BIOGRAPHIE

Carolina Hindsjö is a filmmaker working with philosophical, political och theological subjects. She is a feminist. She is working a long time with the subjects of her films and she rewrites the scripts to the very last minute. The animations she makes by herself, just to get the right feeling of the movement. Every film is an experiment, she never makes the same film again. To explore the medium film is important to her. Her films includes lots of symbolism and surrealism. You will explore her inner world through her films. Carolina is born i Sweden with a Swedish dad and a Finnish mother, the Finnish culture is quite different from the Swedish one which has made her films have a tension. Waterpolo is a sport which she is a part of. You can see at her figures that the have muscles and that the women are not weak, quite the opposite, very strong. Every figure in her drawings has got a well trained body. Waterpolo is almost like animation, there is also a movement.
