Matias Lovro is a writer, director and editor from São Paulo, Brazil. After graduating with a journalism degree and working as staff writer for magazines, he directed and edited his first film, Direção Incerta, which awarded Best Mid-Length Documentary in Mobifilm Festival. He then relocated to Los Angeles, where he lived for two years, got a Master's Degree in film, wrote and directed his first fiction short, What's Left of October, and worked as writer's assistant and assistant director. Now back in São Paulo, he just finished editing his first feature film, the documentary Chorão: Marginal Alado, which is in post production and already has a commercial national distribution deal.
