BIOGRAPHIE

Yaride Rizk nació el 5 de octubre de 1984 en la Ciudad de México. Es cineasta, artista escénico independiente y artista marcial. En el 2001 se muda a Florencia Italia donde comienza sus estudios universitarios en filosofía y letras, 2 años después se da cuenta que las aulas universitarias no son para ella. En el 2007 regresa a la Ciudad de México donde inicia a actuar para algunos cortometrajes, mediometrajes y series de televisión. En el 2014 decide ser creadora de sus propias ideas tanto cinematográficas como escénicas. En el 2012 comienza sus estudios en el arte marcial chino del Kung Fu, en 2018 tiene una estancia de 3 meses en Wudang China para profundizar en esta práctica y filosofía que nutre constantemente su quehacer como creadora. Yaride Rizk was born on October 5th, 1984 in Mexico City. She is a film director, actress, and a martial artist. In 2001, she moved to Florence, Italy to study philosophy and letters, discovering after two years that university life was not for her. In 2007, Rizk returned to Mexico City to begin a career as an actress with roles in short films, médium-length films, and television series. In 2015, Rizk began studying the Chinese martial art of Kung Fu. In 2018, she completed a three-month fellowship in the Wudang Mountains of China, a profound experience that deepened her relationship with the practice and philosophy—while serving as an endless source of inspiration in her work as a creator.
