Jelle Janssen

BIOGRAPHIE

Diederick Geers (1997), Jelle Janssen (1995) and Jasper Loos (1998) are three filmmakers from the Netherlands. All with different backgrounds and experiences. Diederick graduated in 2018 from the education Communication & Multimedia Design and has thought himself to make animations. Jelle graduated in 2020 from art academy AKV|St.Joost as an animator. Jasper graduated at the same art academy, but as a live-action filmmaker. The three filmmakers met during the minor of their educations. They organized film nights together. Eventually, they decided to submit a film idea, partly based on those film nights, for ULTRAKORT (Ultrashort), a project for short animations, organized by the Dutch Film Fund. Their plan got selected and 'Cliffhanger' got realized.
